  • Bree is turned on by the way Orson washes glasses and they run off to have sex but when she experiences what she thinks was a small stroke she leaves, but is surprised to later learn that she had an orgasm.

  • Andrew finds Danielle trying to commit suicide after taking 3 sedatives and cutting her wrists with a spoon and casually tells Bree and Orson who at first just shake it off, and then run after her when they realise he's serious.

  • Lynette, Susan and Gabrielle all sit together on Lynette's porch and get drunk. Susan then arrives at Ian's house to confess her love for him, but ends up throwing up in his bathroom in front of one of his guests at his elegant party.

  • Susan realises Julie is one of the hostages in the supermarket and runs to Ian sobbing "the last thing I said was that she disappointed me."

  • Gabrielle and Carlos smash up the house after their settlement is agreed but later realise what sort of people they've become and agree not to be those people anymore.

  • Lynette accidentally mentions that Nora put the moves on Tom, and Carolyn shoots her, telling Lynette that she should be thankful. Nora then tells Lynette to make sure she takes care of Kayla and dies in her arms.

  • The hostages leave the supermarket and Susan and Julie are reunited, and Julie runs up and hugs Austin. Lynette is then wheeled out after being shot in the arm and is reunited with Tom.

  • In the hospital after being shot, Lynette dreams about the day Mary Alice committed suicide and begs her to let her help, but Mary Alice tells her "we can't prevent what we can't predict" and tells her to enjoy the rest of the day. Mary Alice's voiceover then states that was the last time Lynette dreamt of her and "for her sake, I am grateful."

  • Gabrielle returns to modelling but is saddened to find out that she's now considered old and that everything's changed.

  • Susan worries that Julie is taking the pill and talks to Edie about it, but the two walk in on Austin with Danielle and she later tells Julie about him cheating on her, and Julie's later seen sobbing in her mother's arms.

  • Susan tells Ian that Jane won't be able to make it until he returns from his trip, so she holds her phone up to Jane's ear while Ian says his goodbyes.

  • Ian finds Susan in tears in the embalming room at Jane's funeral and proposes to her.

  • Tom is mad at Lynette when the order for chairs for the pizzaria that Lynette was in charge of goes wrong, but later announces to all the guests at the opening how much he appriciates her.

  • Gabrielle discovers that she slept with Zach while drunk and when she sees Carlos she ashamedly grabs hold of his leg saying "We had sex last night!" And Carlos says he's going to "warn the Scavo boys" after she "bagged another neighbourhood kid."

  • Tom's romantic surprise for his and Lynette's anniversary goes horribly wrong, and the two go into a diner for coffee and Lynette tells him "9 years, and I have loved every minute of it."

  • Susan tries to set up Mike with her wedding caterer, Maggie after he confesses that he's still in love with her, but he resists her efforts by bringing up his past in prison with every chance he gets.

  • Susan decides to stay with Ian, but he catches her listening to a telephone message from Mike and realises that it's him she really loves and tells her that he's moving back to England.

  • After firing Rick after he admits he's in love with her, Lynette returns home and Tom announces he's ready to go back to work, while she sobs quietly in the bathroom.

  • Susan, after twisting her ankle sits alone in the woods and leaves Mike a message telling him that she loves him and she promises there won't be anymore drama.

  • Mike finds Susan in the woods and she tells him she twisted her ankle and he says "Good. Because now I can do this" and picks her up and kisses her.

  • Mike takes Susan home and plans to propose to her like he was meant to a year ago, but she gets there first and asks him to marry her.

  • After hitting her head on the nightstand, Lynette sits with Tom in the hospital where he asks her if she had feelings for Rick. She tries to take his hand but he pulls away. The two are then called in where the doctor tells Lynette that she may have lymphoma, and Tom takes her hand.

  • Mike goes out on what he thinks is a plumbing job but discovers that it's a surprise wedding that Susan and Julie arranged, and he and Susan finally get married in the woods.
