i do. :(. i downloaded every time we touch, i knew i shouldn't as it's rubbish music and it only takes a ten year old to make it but the reason we suffer from it is because it's the kind of genre (Like hardcore) that sticks in your head and you sing it to yourself lol
Try anything by Ian van Dahl, Lasgo, Beam or Plummett.
You disgrace trance music >=( XD
... sad Lassic...
... I find guilty pleasures out of both Ian Van Dahl and Plummet. Although Ian Van Dahl screams "Naive Epic Trance going extremely towards the direction of High Speed Pop Music" and Plummet screams "Epic House with a Vocodor"... they're catchy, just not LIST worthy.
How come I gotta be sad Lassic?
XD I'm just not one for the cheesy vocal tripe.
You told me I disgrace trance.
I think you're VERY sad Lassic.
Aw c'mon bro, I'm just messin with ya, I've already mentioned I respect the hell outta your trance list. You don't seriously disgrace trance, if you must know I have some guilty pleasures of my own (Like the artists I gave you) so I hope you aint takin me too seriously. Sorry bro.
No. I was being a turd.
...Bro.
Ah, okay, it's cool then bro. And sorry about the bro thing, it's a habit XD
Scouse/hands-up is not all that bad. There are/and there were some really fresh, high-spirited, likeable, and also I'll say "enchanting" hands-up stuff. Of course none of them were ever made by Cascada.
I love how Cascada's remixing everything and everyone now.
I used to be a huge fan of this - i still listen to it every now and then.
A few things i'll say - every new release is a cover, with very few examples. there used to be a minimum of creativity in the genre, but it has faded away. at the top of the genre are such people as DJ Manian (producer of cascada, as well as a lot of other things) and Rob Mayth. Also notice the fact that most songs from the same producer uses the same samples, same basslines, same leads, same everything. A vast majority of the newer producers are just copying the "styles" of the aforementioned.
anyway, here's a few songs that aren't that bad:
Alex M. vs. Marc Van Damme - Technodisco (DJ Digress Remix)
Sven-R-G - Going Crazy
DJ Yanny - Rhythm Is A Dancer
Verano - You're My Angel
C-Bool - House Baby (Verano Remix)
Rocco & Bass-T - House Time
2 Vibez - I Believe
Pattern Mode - Citybeat (Tune Up! Remix)
oops - exceptions, not examples. :)
Thank you for your suggestions! I'm finding them quite difficult to come across and listen to but I'll add them as I find them!!
And I didn't find "Rhythm is a Dancer" by DJ Yanny but I found "Rhythm is a Bass" which sounded alot like the other songs... is that what you meant or is there also a "Rhythm is a Dancer" make by him?
Rhythm is a Dancer is a cover of Snap's older song in a more cascada-ish style, and i personally like it fairly much, it is very different from the one you mentioned.
Some perfectly executed hands-up stuff (floorfilla is a bit italodance though) from the last years; for me it doesn't get any better this:
clubraiders - "move your hands up (club mix)" 2004
harry chester - "trust your eyes (alex megane remix)" 2004
rob mayth - "can i get a witness (club mix)" 2005
blue thunder - "disconnected (marc korn remix)" 2005
neo cortex - "i want you (rocketeers vs. lagoon remix)" 2006
rob mayth vs. floorfilla - "ipower (dj cerla florfillarabic mix)" 2007
Hands-up, italodance, commercial trance, hardtrance were tremendous and "unspoiled" in the 2000-2004 period, but I haven't got my cds from these years by me now, yet I'm planning to swish some retrospectives into l-ology in a month or two.
Uff boring music.....!!
