3/15/2003 - The first film on this list is "Old School." Now, I do a quick PowerSearch on the ol' IMDB... Year: 2003; Exclude TV Movies, Videos, and TV Series; and let's set a minimum vote count to 100. Hey, whaddaya know - I've seen the best movie of 2003 so far!
C+ or higher = all movies I liked to some degree and would probably recommend
C = average
C- or lower = all movies I disliked to some degree and would probably not recommend

I'm so happy to see Bad santa on the top teir.
I saw 21 Grams yesterday. It was excellent.
Other than that, I don't know about American Wedding being second tier. It would have been bottom of the bottom on my list.
I must admit I have a soft spot in my heart for the antics of Jim, Finch, Stifler, and everyone else.
C'mon... "Identity" that high? With that twist?
I really have mixed feelings about the twist. I mean, sure, the filmmakers are manipulating you, but I think they at least dropped some hints as to the twist, and if some rules of filmmaking may have been broken in order to surprise the audience, I don't think any rules of nature were. I don't think the twist ruined the movie.
