Boy, that certainly is one low bottom tier. I remember a couple of friends loving both those films. I never finished Oh God! Book II, and Wholly Moses was a really bad comedy.
I think I finally saw Moses the same week I saw Hawmps!. That was hardly a banner week for me.

I may have told this story before somewhere else on this site, but when I originally made plans to tape "Wholly Moses!" off the TV, the TV Guide plot summary of the movie was simply, "Tired religious satire." It's the only time I've ever seen the TV Guide summary actually criticize a movie.
And of course, I wished I'd listened to the summary. Even in the era when "Dirty Work" was one of my favorite movies, I was not amused by "Wholly Moses!"
