Definitely a good year for me: the worst film I saw was The Front, and that wasn't even that bad.

C+ or higher = all movies I liked to some degree and would probably recommend
C = average
C- or lower = all movies I disliked to some degree and would probably not recommend

Now, I'm a little suprised to see Taxi Driver in the tier 'Unwatched', especially for somebody who has seen as many movies as you have...

It's certainly one of the biggest gaps in my movie viewing, along with The Godfather Part II, The Wild Bunch, Jaws, Once Upon a Time in America, 8 1/2, The Grand Illusion, and perhaps Gone With the Wind. I have no excuses for not seeing these classics. I could tell you I'll probably see them soon, but in reality I have no idea when I'll see them. Some of these have lame, whiny rationalizations behind not seeing them (The Godfather Part II is too looooooong...), but not Taxi Driver, which I actually have the DVD of, and have just not watched it yet.

I think that everyone has got his/her classics that (s)he has not yet seen.
But please try to see Taxi Driver as soon as possible. It is so absolutely great. Scorsese's best, and that, you know, is very much to say!
