Cloned From:

Good call with the dark horse nominees. I think I'll do that too.

Diane Lane, eh? Interesting...

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

No guts no glory I suppose. She's a very popular nominee, and the acting categories are ripe for upsets this year. Nothing to lose, right?

I guess the most money I could've made would have been to bet on the screenplay for "The Pianist." But hey, that surprised me too.

More realistically, I could've bet on Kidman, since I always figured her for a shoo-in. Even with everyone raving about Diane Lane's performance, I never seriously considered her to be a contender. Of course, this wasn't based on anything other than the following grounds: (1) I didn't see "Unfaithful", (2) I am probably not going to see "Unfaithful", (3) I hated Diane Lane in "Jack", (4) "Unfaithful" wasn't nominated for anything else, and (5) I really liked Kidman, Moore, and Zellweger.
